BAHAWALPUR: Hundreds of teachers of Bahawalnagar district staged a demonstration against the proposed privatisation of schools at Sutlej Park here on Thursday.
After the demonstration, they took out a rally up to the Bahawalnagar press club. The teachers demanded for immediate stoppage of privatisation of schools.
Two killed on road

BAHAWALPUR: A man and his niece were killed in an accident near Mehmoodpur Lalika on Bahawalnagar-Minchanabad Road on Thursday.
Zaheer Abbas, 31, of Chak Nanak Sar, his nieces Aziza, 7, and Aqsa were on their way when a truck hit their car. As a result, Zaheer and Aziza were killed on the spot.
