One of the tragic days in my living memory in Charsadda is the Bacha Khan University incident. Twenty-two people were killed and scores other injured in the attack. The majority of victims have been traumatised, especially those students who were present at the university on the fateful day.

Restoring the confidence of students and their parents is very difficult because they have been going through mental stress and fear of another round of carnage. The university administration should hire the services of renowned psychiatrists for its students.
