Nowshera Police to launch operation on daily basis
NOWSHERA: The police and security forces would launch search and strike operations on daily basis, an official said on Sunday.
Talking to reporters, District Police Officer Wahid Mehmood said that action had been taken against Afghan nationals residing illegally in the district.
He also asked the educational institutions to install CCTV cameras and an SOS alert system. He said that the institutions would be closed if their security system was not up to the standards set by the government.
“Initially, advisory notice would be given. But if the security was not improved action would be taken,” he warned.
He asked the public to check suspicious activities in their neighbourhood and report to the police, saying that the war could not be won without the masses’ support.
