Rs20.84m for computer labs in schools

JHANG: The Punjab government will spend Rs 20.84 million on establishing computer labs in 18 boys and girls high schools of the district, said EDO Education Nasim Ahmad Zahid.
Talking to journalists here on Friday, he said that the computer labs would be set up at Government High School Roranwali, Government Girls High School Maloana, Government High School Chak 254, Government Girls High School Pir Kot Sadhana, Government Girls High School Madoki, Government Girls High School Bhoon, Government Girls High School Chak 481, Government Girls High School Chak 493, Government Girls High School Waryamwala, Government Girls High School Dab Kalan, Government High School Chohan, Government Girls High School Mari Shah Sakhira, Government Girls High School Machiwal, Government Girls High School Rashidpur, Government High School Chak 10 Tahal and Government Girls High School Hasobalal. He said that initial grant of Rs 10.43 million had been released to the Building Department for the purpose.
For provision of electricity in schools, a summary had been forwarded to the Punjab government for establishment of solar systems in 160 schools of the district, he added.
