2 kiln owners among 4 booked in Okara

OKARA: Police on Wednesday booked two kiln owners and their managers on the charge of violating the Child Protection Act in separate incidents here.
Depalpur Assistant Commissioner Imtiaz Khichi along with other staff raided the kiln of Muhammad Afzal at Salowal village and found that three minors, Rizwan, Akhtar Ali and Naveed, were making bricks. Sadar Depalpur police registered a case against kiln owner Afzal and manager Muhammad Ibrahim. The same team raided the kiln of Mian Imam Din at Pakistani Bridge on Depalpur-Hujra Shah Muqeem Road and found that two minor brothers, Nadeem and Ghulam Mustafa, s/o Sabir Ali, were busy working at the kiln. Later, the police registered a case against Mian Imam Din and his manager Muhammad Hasnain.
