2 kidnappers held, abductee recovered

CHAKWAL: Sadar police on Wednesday arrested two alleged kidnappers after recovering the abductee.
Wasim Akram, a BS student of Government Postgraduate College, was abducted and the kidnappers had demanded Rs 10 million as ransom from his family for his release. Later, DPO Munir Masood Marth constituted a special team headed by Sadar police DSP Asar Ali, which arrested accused kidnapper Shah Hussain of Noshera. On the pointation of the arrested accused, the police raided the house of another alleged kidnapper Asghar Ali and recovered abductee Wasim Akram besides arresting Asghar. The police are conducting raids to arrest two other accused persons.
