Water from a leaked pipeline at Nipa Chowrangi in Karachi has made driving on the road a nightmare. On December 31 last year, Wasa officials took a whole day to repair the pipeline which burst again two days later. Also, the road from Hasan Square to the Habib Bank Chowrangi underpass has developed large potholes.
In addition, poor maintenance of three underpasses on the signal-free corridor has made them hazardous to drive through. This is specially the case with the underpass between Hasan Square and Habib Bank Chowrangi. The authorities concerned are requested to look into the matter.
