Two killed as van overturns

KASUR: Two people were killed and six others injured in a road accident near Sardar Mal in Phoolnagar Sadr police limits on Thursday.
A van was going to Lahore from Wah Addan when it overturned due to overspeeding. As a result, Muhammad Younus and Arshad were killed on the spot while six others were injured. Police are investigating.

TWO ROBBERS HELD: City police on Thursday arrested two robbers and recovered booty from them.
Police raided and busted Jaidi alias Kodu gang by arresting its ringleader Javed alias Kodu and member Shan. Police also recovered illicit weapons, two motorcycles, Rs 150,000 and mobile phones from them.
