‘MCB customers satisfied’

LAHORE: The resilience and hard work of employees of all ranks of MCB have proved that privatisation has brought a paradigm shift in services, infrastructure, technology and contribution to the national exchequer, while increase in the number of satisfied customers is also a testimony in this regard, Riafat Khan Jadoon, president of MCB staff union said, while talking to newsmen.

Millions of households also progressed with the successful privatization of MCB. “The number of employees working in MCB Bank has increased from 8,000 to over 20,000; assets and deposits have grown by 20 times; and it has contributed over Rs 100 billion to the national exchequer on account of taxes since its privatisation,” he added.

It has been assigned the best rating among all domestic banks by reputable foreign and local rating agencies.

Its profitability has increased by 170 times after privatisation, which makes us proud for being an important part of the overall success. The Bank has also ensured many fringe benefits and we will not allow anybody to harm our source of income. Our prosperity is directly dependent on the progress of the bank.
