Brother, sister shot dead in Pattoki

KASUR: A youth and his sister were gunned down at Chah Kalalawala village, Pattoki, on Tuesday.
Liaqat Ali, his second wife, daughter Saima (22) and son Sharafat Ali (30) had been living at Malik Yasin’s outhouse. They were tenants of Malik Yasin. On the day of the incident, some unidentified people shot Saima and Sharafat dead while they were sleeping. The bodies were sent to Pattoki THQ Hospital for autopsy.
Pattoki DSP Ali Akhtar said none of the family member had approached police for registration of a case. The motive behind the murder could be some domestic issue, he added.
THREE SHOS SUSPENDED: DPO Ali Nasir Rizvi on Tuesday suspended three SHOs over poor performance and negligence.
The suspended officials are Khuddian SHO Inspector Muhammad Ashraf, Mandi Usmanwala SHO Inspector Ali Hussain and Kot Radha Kishan SHO Inspector Tahir Zainul Abideen.
Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector Kafayat Ali and Inspector Zulfiqar Hameed have been posted as SHOs at Khuddian and Mandi Usmanwala police stations respectively. Allahabad SHO Inspector Rashid Ameen Butt has been transferred and posted as SHO Kot Radha Kishan police station.
Pattoki City SHO Inspector Nasrullah Bhatti has been transferred and posted as SHO Allahabad police station while Sub-Inspector Shahid Rafiq has been appointed SHO Pattoki City police station.
