Okara bar polls on 14th

OKARA: A seven-member committee of the District Bar Association has decided to hold the postponed bar elections on January 14. The committee members, including DBA president Ch Aslam Javed, general secretary Rao Abid Mushtaq, three former bar presidents Ch Habibur Rehman, Rai Muhammad Shafi Kharral and Ch Riazul Haq and two candidates for bar president slot Rao Muhammad Ashraf and Rai Muhammad Arshad Raza, have reached a decision that only the original list of bar voters, which was sent to the Punjab Bar Council record, would stand as the only valid list for polling, while the three lists for addition and deletion of votes in the main voters list would stand as cancelled.
