LAHORE/MULTAN: The Multan Development Authority, Director General Agha Muhammad Ali Abbas and Multan Cantonment Additional SP Kamran Ahmed Khan have been removed from their posts and ordered to report to their parent departments, followings orders of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. They were removed from their posts on public complaints and charges of committing negligence in performing their assigned tasks, officials said on Friday.
The action was taken after a day-long stay of the chief minister in Multan. Agha Muhammad Ali Abbas has been directed to report to Services and General Administration Department. Multan Division Commissioner Javed Akhtar Mahmood has been given additional charge of the post of director general of Multan Development Authority. Additional SP Cantt Multan Division Kamran Amir Khan has been directed to report to the Central Police Office.
