That the Punjab government has started a door-to-door vaccination campaign is a welcome development. Through this service, people can easily get vaccinated at their homes. This campaign is great for the elderly and for those who cannot take out time to stand in long queues for hours to get vaccinated. The Sindh government should also start this service to vaccinate more people. At present, long queues at vaccination centres are discouraging people to get vaccinated. Also, it is nearly impossible to maintain the recommended six-foot distance at overcrowded centres. The authorities must consider launching a door-to-door campaign in Karachi on an urgent basis as the city is finding it difficult to tackle the current Covid-19 situation.
