Naval chief hockey postponed

LAHORE: The Chief of Naval Staff All Pakistan Hockey Tournament has been postponed due to increasing Covid-19 cases in Sindh.
Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) secretary Asif Bajwa in a message said the tournament has been postponed in the light of the current lockdown imposed by the Sindh government.
“The event has been postponed. We cooperate with the government in this tough time and I hope we will come out of this situation soon,” Bajwa said. The new dates of the event will be finalised after August 21.
