Dr Baig felicitates Dr Ashfaq on UN Tax assignment

KARACHI: Secretary Information United Business Group Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig congratulated Dr Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmed on his appointment as member UN Tax Committee among 25 tax experts around the world for the year 2021 to 2025.

Dr Ashfaq Ahmed has been serving as member inland-revenue operation in FBR, instrumental in tax reforms particularly FASTER system and also successfully achieved revenue targets. He said it was a great honour for Pakistan that Dr Ashfaq was appointed in the group of tax experts around the world to work on international cooperation in tax matters to prevent double and multiple taxation that would help to broaden the tax net.
