Police on Wednesday claimed to have apprehended four Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) affiliated terrorists after a gunfight in Phase I of the Defence House Authority (DHA).
Officials said the suspects – identified as Hanif alias Nadeem Kala, Ashraf Ali alias Bholu, Rehmat Shah, and Zahid Hussain – were arrested after an intelligence-driven raid.
Explosives and weapons were recovered from the men who, according to police, were planning a major terror attack in the city.
