DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A motorcyclist and his mother were killed when hit by a speeding Datsun pick-up on Dera-Darya Khan road in the jurisdiction of Gomal University Police Station on Sunday. The police said that Gulistan alias Jano along with his mother Ghulam Bibi was riding a bike when struck by a speeding Datsun pick-up 4024-KPK on Dera-Darya Khan road. As a result, Gulistan died on the spot while his mother sustained critical injuries.
The injured woman was taken to the Civil Hospital in Dera Ismail Khan but later also succumbed to her injuries. Ramzan Baloch, the uncle of deceased Gulistan, registered a case against the driver of the Datsun pick-up.
