Contractual teachers regularised
JHANG: The Education Department has regularised services of hundreds of male and female teachers recruited in 2011 and 2012 on contract and ad hoc basis.
In this connection, notifications of regularisation of all grades had been issued from the DEO of Secondary and Elementary. Earlier, in compliance with the decision of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the Punjab Schools Education Department had approved regularisation of teaching staff across the Punjab.
LAID TO REST: The father-in-law of Additional District Collector Babar Rehman died at Sargodha on Tuesday.
People from various segments of society including DCO Nadir Chattha, AC Imran Asmat and journalists participated in his funeral prayers. Later, he was buried in a local graveyard.
