New PHA Complex to be constructed in Faisalabad
FAISALABAD: The City District Government will construct a new PHA Complex near Commissioner Office with a cost of Rs 32.5 million.
In this connection, former MNA Ch Sher Ali and DCO Noorul Amin Mengal jointly laid down the foundation stone of the project here on Tuesday. For the project, one acre land had been acquired from the Commissioner Office boundary area. Former MPA Khawaja Muhammad Islam Director Coordination Ch Muhammad Sarwar, Director Engineering Shahbaz Farooq, Director Admin Liaqat Ali, deputy directors and others also attended the function. Mian Muhammad Sarwar also attended the function. Speaking on the occasion, DCO Noorul Amin Mengal told that the City District Government was giving special importance on consolidation of the local institutions and focusing its special attention on development projects in Faisalabad. He said that the PHA project would be completed within next six months and its construction would be speedy and transparent. He hoped that after completion of this complex, the PHA would expand its social and development activities in Faisalabad and the City District Government would extend its maximum possible cooperation to the DHA for converting Faisalabad in green city. Ch Sher Ali expressed satisfaction over the working of the PHA in Faisalabad and said that the construction of the PHA Complex would improve beauty of the city.
