Pakistan is currently facing severe security challenges. The recent Dasu bus attack, in which nine Chinese and four Pakistanis lost their lives, clearly hints at the fact that the country’s enemies are actively trying to sabotage Pakistan’s journey to progress and prosperity. The Dasu hydropower project is one of the most significant China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects. It seems that the countries that are not happy with the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and China are trying to weaken the relationship of the two countries. This incident also showed that the wave of terrorism has once again found its place in Pakistan, which is an alarming situation.
On the other hand, the recent statement of the interior minister on the case that involved the Afghan ambassador’s daughter shows how India is trying to spoil the reputation of Pakistan’s security system. Last year, the EU DisinfoLab uncovered how India targeted Pakistan. The recent Pegasus report also suggests that a mobile phone number which was once used by Prime Miniter Imran Khan was part of a hacking attempt made by India. Pakistan needs to keep a vigilant eye on its enemies and make sure that no one dares to hurt the country’s reputation and peace.
