Police hold flag march in Lahore
LAHORE: A flag march led by CCPO was carried out in the city here on Tuesday to create a sense of security among the citizens and maintain peace and order. The flag march started from District Police Lines Qila Gujar Singh. Dolphin Squad, Police Response Unit, and traffic police participated in the flag march.
The CCPO visited various checkpoints of the city. He checked security and search duties at police check posts at Saggian, Shahdara, Ravi, Bund Road, Babu Sabu and Thokar Niaz Baig. He also visited South Cantt, Factory Area and Defence C police stations. He checked front desk, record register and Mall Khana. He reprimanded SHO Factory Area Shabbir Awan and SHO Defence C Syed Wajihul Hassan for poor work and directed them to process the pending applications within three days.
