Chitral family lauds timely police action during clash
CHITRAL: Timely action by Inspector General KP Police chief Moazzam Jah Ansari saved lives of several people and prevented further bloodshed in Chitral district recently.
A group of armed men attacked the house of another party, causing serious knife injuries to the sons and a daughter and daughter-in-law of one Amin-Ur-Rehman, a retired army soldier in Bamboret area of Chitral district.On learning about the incident, IGP Moazzam Jah Ansari took details from the field unit and decided to intervene and prevent further bloodshed.
The police chief directed the cops to immediately take legal action in the case and as a result, the accused were arrested and further bloodshed was thus prevented.The victim party of Amin-ur-Rehman’s family thanked the police for taking timely action against the alleged attackers and thus creating an environment conducive to the dispensation of justice.
