MDCAT registration date extended
Islamabad : The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) has extended the last date for the late registration for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) to July 25.
"Due to the large number of students registering today, the late payment fee for late registration is removed until July 2, 2021," the regulator for medical education said in a statement.
According to the PMC, any student wanting to register for the MDCAT can do so on the payment of regular fees until July 20.
"Any student applying for the MDCAT after 20th July 2021 will then be charged the late MDCAT registration fee," it said.
For the first time, the MDCAT will be entirely a computer-based exam allowing both local and foreign students to sit it.
The test will take place from August 30 to September 30 in 20 designated cities and in selected cities abroad depending on the student registrations.
Applicants will be provided with online tutorials and practice tests to help them familiarise themselves with the test format.
