Cop brutally tortured, bitten by dogs in Nawabshah
SUKKUR: The DIGP, Shaheed Benazirabad, Irfan Baloch, has taken notice of torture of a policeman by an influential person.
Reports said a policeman, Sajawal Rajper of the District Intelligence Bureau (DIB) branch of Naushahro Feroze Police, was allegedly tortured and bitten by dogs of an influential person, identified as Akbar Rajper, at Padidan in Naushahro Feroze district. The victim had registered his complaint, in which he maintained that the police had conducted a raid at an illegal gambling arena, saying the influential person had blamed him for the raid. The man on Sunday had brutally tortured him and later put him in front of his dogs to do the rest. The DIGP, Irfan Baloch, has taken notice of the incident and ordered to arrest the accused and immediately registered an FIR against him.
