CM orders projects feasibility completion

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has ordered steps for timely completion of feasibility and other pre-requisites of the projects to be proposed for inclusion in Public Sector Development Programme 2022-23.

He said this while chairing a meeting, said a handout. Minister for Local Government Akbar Ayub Khan and other officials attended the meeting.

The chief minister directed the officials that megaprojects of public importance should be identified for inclusion in the next PSDP.

He asked the officials to focus on projects for development of the command area of completed dams, Peshawar - DI Khan Motorway, dualization of the road from Indus Highway to Bannu city, construction of road from Madyan to Kalam, Kalam- Kumrat road and other projects.

Earlier, the participants of the meeting were informed that a field office had been set up at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House in Islamabad. The purpose was close coordination with relevant federal ministries and divisions to ensure inclusion of projects proposed by the provincial government in PSD. and other pre-requisites of the projects to be proposed for inclusion in Public Sector Development Programme 2022-23.
