LAHORE : Around 189,529 candidates will appear in Lahore Board’s Intermediate Part-II Annual Examination 2021 starting from Saturday (today). Of all the candidates, 97,528 are girls and remaining 92,001 are boys.
Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore Chairman Dr Mirza Habib Ali said that Section 144 had been imposed to crack down on the booti mafia and external elements while the Lesco chief had been requested not to carry out outages during the examination hours.
The chairman said that all arrangements had been completed as 462 examination centres had been set up while one examination centre each had been set up at Hasilpur, Chishtian, Rahimyar Khan, DG Khan, Fazilpur and Jund for the students of Danish schools. Roll number slips have also been issued to all the candidates, he said.
Dr Mirza Habib also issued instructions to all the examination staff to perform their duties with utmost honesty considering it as a national duty. He also directed to ensure inspection of all examination centres on daily basis.
Mobile inspectors, resident inspectors, chairman squads have also been formed for full monitoring of examination centres. A control room has been set up at the board office for complaints, he said.
