LAHORE: Senior pacer Wahab Riaz has been deported to Pakistan from London airport after he travelled to the United Kingdom (UK) to take part in ‘The Hundred’ cricket tournament.
The 35-year-old Wahab was told by the immigration department that he had the wrong visa. Wahab later informed reporters that he was getting the visa error rectified and would soon travel again.
Wahab will play for Trent Rockets. Mohammad Amir is another Pakistani to play in the league. Shadab Khan and Shaheen Shah Afridi have shown their unavailability due to national duty.
