HAVELI, AJK: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the timid prime minister could not talk on Kashmir.

He said that he just asked the other parties not to become a cat who runs away but a lion who faces the adversaries. “The Jiyalas have to chase not only the puppet from Kashmir but other parties as well. “Prime Minister Imran Khan was a polling agent of Gen Musharraf and Modi,” he said while addressing a public gathering at Haveli in connection with the Azad Kashmir election campaign. Bilawal said, “Imran Khan is lying by saying that he will not provide air bases to the United States because this decision was taken by Parliament during the PPP government. “It is unfortunate that our current prime minister is a puppet, selected and incapable,” he said.

He said Imran Khan responded to the historic attack on Kashmir by saying, "What can I do?" “If Quaid-i-Awam were there today, he would have gone to the United States with the Kashmir case while response of the puppet was to rename the Kashmir Highway as Srinagar Highway and change his own map with his own pen,” he said.

He said Imran Khan did not fulfil the aspirations of Kashmiri people. “We all have one slogan that "no compromise is accepted on Kashmir. We do not take dictation from Delhi or Islamabad, rather from you. Quaid-i-Awam’s slogan was "Hamara Naara Sab pe Bhari, Rai Shumari, Rai Shumari".

He said, “We do not want a prime minister who prays for Modi's success in elections nor a prime minister who invites Modi to wedding celebrations. He said that the PPP is the only party which cannot compromise on Kashmir as it was founded on the issue of Kashmir. “We believe in the United Nations' resolutions,” he said. PPP chairman said that the real face of Imran Khan's change is historic poverty, price hike and unemployment. “The PPP also increased salaries by 120 percent, pensions by 100 percent and for the soldiers fighting terrorism by 175 percent,” he said adding that on July 25, the Jiyala prime minister will be elected and his first measure will be to increase salaries and pensions.

He said the PPP introduced BISP during the worst recession in the world. This Ehsas programme is nothing but the BISP.

He said Bhutto's slogan was "Maang Raha Hai Har Insan, Roti Kapra aur Makan" but this puppet is snatching all these things from the poor people. “This country will not progress until we do not look after our growers, labourers and youth,” he said.

He said the Jiyalas have already defeated the puppet along with other parties.

Bilawal said that he is in the field to complete the mission of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.

He said that this is the place where Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had addressed a huge public gathering in 1974. At that time the soldier of the party Mumtaz Rathore was with him and then he proved to be a loyal brother of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. Today Faisal Rathore is here to continue his father's struggle with the PPP.

He said that no one can finish the PPP. “The Quaid-e-Awam fought for the Kashmir cause at every front. We have a relation going back three generations. He always raised voice for the people's rights,” he said.

He said Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was the one who had said that they will fight for Kashmir for a thousand years. “Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was the chairman of OIC and gave Pakistan nuclear capability and when he used to give a call for strike everything on both sides of the border used to close down,” he said.

He said Mohtarma Benazir had said where the Kashmiris would shed their sweat, they would shed their blood. “The Kashmiri people always supported her as he provided employment to men and women,” he said.

Meanwhile, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz said that two-minute silence on Kashmir is still going on.

She said the son of Kashmir Nawaz Sharif fought the Kashmir war. “I know that Kashmiris are missing Nawaz Sharif very much. I have the blood of Kashmiri mother and father in my veins. Kashmir is one and will remain one,” she said this while addressing a huge gathering in Muzaffarabad in connection with AJK upcoming elections.

Maryam warned if the election was rigged, they would pursue it till the end and they would put up full resistance. “We will sit on the highway against those who are stealing the mandate of Kashmiris,” she added

“Imran Khan said in United States that Trump would mediate. On returning it seemed that he had won the World Cup. “Today Kashmiris ask where that World Cup is? Was it your World Cup to throw Kashmir to India,” Maryam said.

Mariyam said, “We (PMLN) also fear that the elections in Azad Kashmir will be stolen but let them know that the people here know very well how to stop vote theft.” Listen carefully, the PMLN has the skill to get the stolen seats out of your throat,” she said.

She said that the opponents are so afraid of Nawaz Sharif that their words start with Nawaz Sharif and end with him.

She said, "Terrorism is once again rearing its head in Pakistan".

"Never in its 70-year history has the country witnessed the decline it has in the last three years," she said.

Her reference to terrorist activities being on the rise comes after the government recently revealed to the nation that last month's blast in Lahore's Johar Town was carried out by a man associated with India's RAW intelligence agency.

Maryam heaped scorn onto the PTI-led government, and especially on Prime Minister Imran Khan, terming him a "calamity" that has been "imposed on Pakistan" since the last three years.

She said the prime minister had "surrendered Kashmir to India".

The PML-N vice president accused the premier of having come into power with stolen votes and that a similar attempt was made in the Daska by-polls. The race was ultimately won by PMLN.

Maryam Nawaz said that the sorrows, sufferings and worries of Occupied Kashmiris would come to an end one day. “Nawaz Sharif will fight for your freedom and rights,” she assured.

PMLN Senior Vice President Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, PMLN President Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan, Pervez Rashid, Capt Safdar, Marriuyam Aurangzeb and others were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, PML-N President and Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan said, “If the state remains, there will be politics. Imran Khan is the new Pervez Musharraf who divided our nation. If he tries to steal our vote, we will chase Imran Khan till the National Assembly.”
