MANSEHRA: Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) head Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao on Thursday expressed concern over the deteriorating security situation in Afghanistan and said that Islamabad did not have a clear-cut policy to deal with the fallout of the Afghan conflict.
Addressing a gathering in Karori union council here, he said that Pakistan could suffer from the spillover of violence from Afghanistan. “This issue can be solved through negotiations. War is no solution to any problem,” he said, adding that the common people would suffer the most due to the escalation of violence in Afghanistan.
Criticising the government, Aftab Sherpao said the three-year performance of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was dismal. The recent budget did not offer any relief to the have-nots, he went on to say.
