A boy was among three people who lost their lives in separate mishaps in parts of the city on Thursday. According to police, a 13-year-old boy, Abdullah, son of Muhammad, died near Ghaggar Phattak after he fell off the roof of his house. His body was shifted to a nearby private hospital.
In a road accident in the Sohrab Goth area, a man died and another was injured. Police said the victims were friends and they were going somewhere on a motorcycle when a trailer truck hit them.
The casualties were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where the deceased was identified as Fayyaz, 40, and the injured as Munawar, 44. In Orangi Town, a pedestrian, who appeared to be in his 60s, died on Shahrah-e-Qazzafi when a motorcycle hit him. His body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and later moved to a morgue for want of identification.
