SUKKUR: A lady doctor has filed a complaint of harassment against taluka Johi assistant commissioner, district, Dadu, in District and Sessions Court, Dadu, which has been flatly denied by the officer.
The lady doctor, Husna Baloch, registered a complaint at District and Sessions Court, Dadu, against the Assistant Commissioner Taluka Johi Sahib Khan Lund, in which she maintained that the accused had harassed her “through text and voice messaging”. She said the entire period of harassment was intensely distressing, alleged the assistant commissioner through messages tried to foster friendship. She claimed that the official had also barged into her private clinic with his police escort to harass her.
Acting on the complaint, the District and Sessions Court Dadu has summoned the assistant commissioner on July 09, while the AC had dismissed all the allegations, saying that he had never visited the doctor, despite she being his first cousin. In his defence, the AC said the doctor and her father had constructed a shopping center and a clinic on the state land and the allegations were levelled against him when he served them with an eviction notice.
