Lahore: Parveen Sarwar, Punjab governor’s wife, has called for a list of all those in prisons in petty crimes and said they should be released. She stated this while addressing the first meeting of the Women’s Peace Council Core Committee as its patron on Tuesday. The speakers pointed out the need to change the mindset to counter extremism. Minister for Human Rights and Minorities Affairs Ijaz Alam Augustine also spoke.
