BAHAWALPUR: Bakhshan Khan police Monday booked more than 500 people, including an MNA and an MPA of the PML-N, for conducting a public gathering without the official approval and violating Covid-19 SOPs
According to police, MNA Ihsan Ul Haq Bajwa, MPA Chaudhry Kashif Mehmood and former UC chairman Rauf Khan Niazi arranged a gathering at the outhouse of Rao Maqsood Ahmed of Chak 8 violating regulations.
PROTEST: Bahawalpur Union of Journalists (Bh UJ) members led by member Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists ( PFUJ ) FEC Muhammad Ameen Abbasi staged a protest demonstration outside Bahawalpur Press Club on the call of PFUJ against the ‘black law’ (Members Privilege Bill) passed by Punjab Assembly.
