The federal government has taken a bold step and started flight operations to and from the Skardu airport for international and domestic flights.
This step will boost tourism in the region. The authorities have also introduced Air Safari flights to attract tourists, which is a good step. However, the airport doesn’t offer world-class facilities to passengers. It has a small waiting room and a congested parking space. The aviation authorities must look into these issues and take proper steps to upgrade the airport.
