MANSEHRA: Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information and Higher Education Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani on Saturday said the government would give scholarships to the orphan college students to enable them to get higher education.
He was speaking as chief guest at the maiden convocation of the Government Postgraduate College, Mansehra.
The minister said it was a historic day for the college and the students who completed their 16 years of education.
He hoped the students who completed their studies would play their role in the development and prosperity of the nation.
He said education was a must to eliminate terrorism from the society.
Mushtaq Ghani congratulated the students and hoped that the college would continue with its pursuit of imparting standard education to children.
Later, he conferred degrees and gold medals on the students.
