Even though there are so many problems that Pakistanis currently face, high prices of food items are the main issue that has badly affected a large number of people. Under the Imran Khan-led government, the cost of living has increased to unaffordable levels. Also, poor healthcare, rising crimes, unemployment, and other issues have made life difficult in the country. No city can be called safe. In Naya Pakistan, the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. The life of the privileged is without any worries – as it was in ‘Old’ Pakistan.
Our rulers should take timely steps to reduce inequality and fight against corruption, and improve people’s standard of living.
