ISLAMABAD: A peaceful protest day was observed Friday on the call of Quaide Millate Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to condemn multiple incidents of blasphemies against Hazrat Imam Musa Kazim (AS), Ahlal Bait (AS) and pious Sahaba Ikram (RA).
To this effect, nationwide protests were held. Addressing the protestors, religious scholars and the leaders of TNFJ demanded punishments for the perpetrators of blasphemous incidents, vowing to offer all kinds of sacrifices for top Islamic personalities.
On this occasion, Moosavi addressed a gathering at Al-Murtaza, applauding the joint meeting of military and political leadership and stressed to stop ignoring activities of proscribed organizations. He said that without clutching the internal enemies, any meeting for the sake of national security will go in vain.
He said that appointing the national criminals and stooges of foreign countries in the Council of Islamic Ideology, boards and peace committees is a threat to national security. He said that blasphemy against Islamic personalities tantamount to inviting wrath of God.
Agha Moosavi demanded that those showing disrespect to Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) companions to protect elements who caused humiliation to Islam must be brought to justice. He alerted that the beloved motherland is under multiple threats, therefore, one must not succumb to political bargains and blackmailing.
He warned that we cannot stay silent on the blasphemous acts against religious heroes and conspiracies against national peace. “The nation must unite against rapidly changing situations and subsequent challenges.”
TNFJ’s protest rally at National Press Club, Islamabad, was led by the Secretary General of TNFJ Syed Shujaat Ali Bukhari, TNFJ’s President for Federal Capital Allama Bisharat Hussain Imami, Central Convener of the Protest Day Committee Syed Irshad Hussain Naqvi, Zulfiqar Ali Raja, Ulama e Karam and other dignitaries.
