MARDAN: Police recovered several motorcycles and also arrested a bike lifter in the city while the cops arrested nine other people with illegal weapons on Friday.
Taking notice of motorcycle lifting incidents in the city, District Police Officer Dr Zahidullah Khan formed a team who conducted raids and arrested an accused, identified as Zawar Hussain, a resident of Swabi district. The cops also recovered six stolen motorcycles from the accused’s possession.
Also, the cops in Shahbaz Garhi area recovered illegal weapons including Quaid Ali, Yar Muhammad, Wajid Ali, Hamid, Shah Faisal, Muhammad Saeed, Salman, Ashiq, and Mahir Ali. Nine pistols and 112 bullets were recovered from the accused.
