LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Industry and Commerce Mian Aslam Iqbal Aslam has said all possible assistance would be provided to All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association (APTPMA) for relocating its industrial units in Quaid-e-Azam Business Park Sheikhupura.
He said this in response to a demand by a delegation of APTPMA which called on him and asked him for 200 acres of land in the industrial estate as they wanted to relocate the industrial units there. The minster said that a world-class special economic zone was being established in Sheikhupura. Mian Aslam Iqbal said that due to the investor-friendly policies of the Punjab government, industrialists were turning to Punjab for investment. The commerce additional secretary, PIEDMC CEO and other officers concerned officers were also present in the meeting.
