LAHORE: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said the mission of Prime Minister Imran Khan to make Pakistan a Madina-like welfare state will be completed.
Only those who serve humanity are remembered in history, not those who have more wealth. Obstructing the government’s economic policies is anti-people plan of the opposition, said the Punjab governor while addressing the inaugural ceremony of a 600-bed private hospital on Wednesday and talking to the media. The hospital CEO Dr Abdul Bari Khan, Mian Talat Mahmood Anwar A Khan, and Iqbal Qureshi from the business community were also present.
The Punjab governor visited various departments of the hospital and lauded philanthropists for providing excellent healthcare facilities to the poor patients. He said the government's top priority, under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, was to provide basic facilities like health and education to the people, adding that Prime Minister Imran Khan would succeed in the mission of making Pakistan the Madina-like state. He said the PTI government was introducing reforms in the institutions, and freeing them from political interference as institutions got destroyed by political interference.
