Special girl assaulted, accused arrested

LAHORE: Police on Monday arrested a man for allegedly subjecting a special minor girl to a sexual assault in Nishter Colony.

Accused Yousaf, a fruit business partner of the victim’s father, entered the house of the girl when she was home alone. He allegedly sexually assaulted her. When the victim’s family members returned home, they noticed the victim and inquired her. On finding the disgraceful act, they informed the police. A Dolphin Squad team reached the spot, arrested the accused and handed over him to local police.

OUTLAWS HELD: CIA Civil Lines arrested three suspected members of Shafiq alias Cheeko gang involved in robberies and recovered cash, illegal firearms and bullets from them. The arrested suspects included gang leader Shafiq alias Chiko, his accomplices Mubeen and Salman. Many cases of robbery against them were registered in different police stations.

MAN HELD WITH GUN: Police arrested a suspect from Sessions Courts’ gate. He was carrying a gun and bullets. Police on suspicion checked him and recovered a handgun and bullets from his custody. He was trying to enter the court premises. He was handed over to Islampura police.
