Four cops arrested for looting milk shop during raid
Four policemen were arrested on Monday after they were caught looting a milk shop in CCTV camera footage.
In the CCTV footage, the policemen could be seen looting cash from the shop’s counter during the Sunday night’s raid conducted by the assistant commissioner in Korangi’s PNT Cooperative Housing Society. The SSP Korangi took action after the footage came to light.
The owner of the milk shop said the raid team first attempted to enter the shop by passing through between the wall and outside grill, but an employee at the shop opened the gate for them. The arrested policemen were identified as head constable Tariq Abbasi and three constables, Zeeshan, Waqar Baig and Amir Khan. A case has been registered against them at the Korangi Industrial Area police station while an investigation is under way.
