ISLAMABAD: The Members of the National Assembly and Sindh Provincial Assembly called on Prime Minister Imran Khan here on Friday and discussed the political situation and the Sindh budget.
The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Fehmida Mirza, Member National Assembly Sardar Ghous Bakhsh Khan Mehr and Ali Gohar Khan Mehr.
The meeting focused on the Sindh political situation, the ongoing development projects and budget of the federal government relating to province. Separately, Prime Minister Imran Khan met Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs Ali Amin Gandapur, Senator Saifullah Niazi, Amir Mahmood Kayani and Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas.
Talks were held on upcoming Kashmir elections and it was decided that nomination of the President, Prime Minister and Speaker of Azad Kashmir would be decided by the Prime Minister himself after the elections. It was reiterated that PTI will fully participate in the upcoming elections. Fateha were offered for the late Saghir Chughtai, a member of the Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly.
