Police conducts 499 search operations

LAHORE:DIG Operations Lahore Sajid Kiani has said that Search and Sweep Operations played a key role to maintain law and order in the city and to foil nefarious designs of the enemies of the country.
Lahore Police Operations Wing, on Friday, issued performance report regarding Search Operations conducted under National Action Plan to maintain law and order situation in the city. According to the report, Lahore Police conducted 499 search operations in which 11311 persons, 54684 houses, 5525 tenants, 32 hotels, 09 guest houses, 28 hostels, 11 bus stands, 185 shops and 02 churches were checked during this month. Police took action against 54 accused persons, registering 43 FIRs in Tenant Acts and 08 accused were arrested in other crimes.
