APC on Kashmir a drama staged by India: Siraj
LAHORE:Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq has said the people of Indian-Occupied Kashmir have completely rejected the tactics of New Delhi used to confuse the world on Kashmir freedom movement and legitimise annexation of the disputed territory on August 5, 2019.
The drama staged in New Delhi in the name of APC on Kashmir had nothing to do with the millions of the people of Indian-held valley who wanted liberation from Indian yoke at any cost, he said while presiding over JI Central Executive Committee meeting at Mansoora on Thursday.
The meeting approved the agenda of the three-day Majlis-e-Shoora meeting which was scheduled to be started on Friday.
Sirajul Haq lamented, saying that the Pakistani rulers had failed to devise a practical and decisive strategy in the wake of India’s step to abrogate the special status of the occupied state, violating mutual agreements with Pakistan, international commitments and its own constitution. The rulers, he added, were expected to take on board the national leadership and prepare a national action plan to help the people of Kashmir after the Modi government’s decision but nothing was done on this front.
Now, he said, Modi was trying to throw dust in the eyes of the international community by gathering the puppets around him. The JI chief reminded the fascist BJP government its tactics would never succeed and people of Kashmir would never abandon their struggle against Indian occupation. He assured the people of Kashmir that every Pakistani was standing with them unshaken and would keep standing until the sun of freedom rose in the occupied area and Kashmir became part of Pakistan.
