Ghotki train accident victim shifted to PNS Shifa
A victim of the Ghotki train accident, Kainat, has been shifted to the PNS Shifa Gospital from the Railways’ Hassan Hospital under the supervision of Divisional Superintendent Karachi Muhammad Hanif Gul and Commandant PNS Shifa Surgeon Commodore Abid Hussain Shah.
Pakistan Railways Karachi Divisional Superintendent Muhammad Hanif Gul visited the patient at Hassan Hospital and assured her full assistance of the Pakistan Railways for her best possible treatment.
He said that initially Kainat had been shifted to the PNS Shifa, but if need arose she would be admitted wherever needed. He added that the Pakistan Railways stood by with Kainat during those tormenting days and all resources would be utilised for her treatment that could lead her to a smooth recovery.
Gul directed the management of hospital to ensure regularly monitoring of the patient.Over 60 passengers had died in the accident that had taken place on June 7 between the Raiti and Daharki railway stations, where eight carriages of the Millat Express got off the tracks before the Sir Syed Express rammed into them.
