Representing WAPDA, Nasir Iqbal took 25 minutes to beat third seed Tayyab Aslam of ZTBL, recording a convincing 11-7, 11-2, 11-3 victory.
Second seed Farhan Zaman of PAF defeated fourth seed Farhan Mehboob of WAPDA 12-10, 11-7, 11-8 in 29 minutes.
Top seed Sadia Gul of SNGPL faced tough resistance from third seed Muqaddas Ashraf of WAPDA. Sadia dropped the first set before making a strong comeback to record a 9-11, 12-10, 12-10, 11-5 victory in 44 minutes.
Second seed Samar Anjum of SNGPL ended the giant-killing run of unseeded Faiza Zafar of NUST University to record a 11-5, 11-7, 11-5 victory in 21 minutes.
