PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari needs to understand that there is no such thing as ‘Twitter politics’. Tweeting political statements will not help in making people understand him. Whenever we face some unfortunate situation, people come across a 140-character tweet by the PPP chairman. The recent incident of the death of 10-month-old Bisma is a case in point.
Why does Bilawal not realise that the gravity of the situation and his actions cannot be expressed through a tweet? Suitable measures need to be taken to address the problem, such as reframing policies regarding the VIP movement and improving infrastructure. There is a dire need to keep a check on VIP protocols. Bisma is the latest casualty to this callous culture. Bilawal should take care of the problems being faced by the people of this country, regardless of whether he needs a security cordon or not.
