KARACHI: Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) leader and former senator Usman Khan Kakar passed away here on Monday.
He was admitted at a private Karachi hospital few days back for suffering from brain hemorrhage after falling on the floor of his house in Quetta. Kakar was shifted to Karachi via an air ambulance from Quetta. Usman Kakar’s last rituals would be offered in his native town Muslim Bagh on Wednesday, according to a news release issued by PkMAP. Body of deceased would be taken to Quetta via Khuzdar on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Lower House of the Parliament on Monday offered Fateha for the departed soul of PkMAP former senator Usman Kakar. Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali led the Fateha and prayed Almighty to rest the departed soul at eternal peace and grant courage to the family of the bereaved to bear the loss with equanimity.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad on Monday expressed deep grief over the demise of Senator Usman Khan Kakar. In a condolence message, he sympathised with the bereaved family and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to his family members to bear this loss with equanimity. While, Federal Minister for Information Chaudhry Fawad Hussain Monday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of former senator Usman Kakar. In a statement, the minister said Usman Kakar was a senior parliamentarian and a good man. He prayed to Allah Almighty to grant him eternal peace and give patience to his family members.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan on Monday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of former senator and leader PkMAP Usman Kakar. In a condolence message, the chief minister expressed heartfelt sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. The CM also condoled with leaders and workers of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party.
