KARACHI: Gold rates in the local market increased by Rs600 per tola on Friday.
According to data released by All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, gold rates in the local market moved up to Rs108,300 per tola. Similarly, 10 gram gold price increased by Rs515 to Rs92,850. In the international market, however, gold rates decreased by $6 to $1,792 per ounce.
Silver rates decreased by Rs20 to Rs1,430 per tola. Price of 10 gram silver also dropped by Rs17.14 to Rs1,226.
Local jewellers claimed that prices in the local market were low by Rs1,000 per tola compared with the rates in the Dubai market.
